I'm having fun working on a new educational handbook for the State of Alaska Fire Department. There are many villages who do not have any firetrucks or fancy equipment, so they rely on educating fire safety. Also, fire safety in Alaska compared to the lower 48 is much different. For example, when your house is on fire, it is not safe to just run outside to a meeting spot in the yard because it could be dangerously cold! This handbook is specific to Alaskan fire safety and uses animals to tell the story aimed at elementary age kids. I'm loving this project!
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
